Environments not loading with Docker Engine 29.0.0

Issue Description

Docker Engine 29.0.0 introduced breaking changes that prevented Portainer from connecting to Docker Standalone environments.

Fix

Update Portainer to versions 2.33.5 LTS / 2.36.0 STS or above.

Workaround

A temporary workaround was found by our community and is detailed under GitHub Issue 12925.
